Do you know me?
My name is Sam. All my life I have wanted to be a fireman and I have taken the fireman’s examination seventeen times, never passing. Finally they told me I couldn’t take the test anymore, because with my mental disability, I am unlikely to ever pass. I want to work but no one will hire me. My wife also has a disability; she is in the hospital right now, heavily medicated after a psychotic episode. I am hoping to get some money to feed our one year old child. He was born in the backseat of our car, which is where we live.
